We love including nature in our styling too, and plants are so easy to use to showcase
At Mezzie+Frank, we love sharing our workshop space with our lovely friends. We have regular workshops for furniture transformation and fun and a bit of bubbly if you like.
We also have some regular little visitors who like to help us with stock and inspiration!

This gorgeous piece was bought to a workshop we ran in Ingham in North Queensland by Jo the owner of Green Jelly Kitchen and Homewares – our wonderful Mezzie + Frank Chalk Effects stockist for the region.
It was painted two pack white and although the lines of it were fabulous
This tired old classic Parker wall unit was a treasure we found at a second hand store. It had such good bones and we could see the potential. The frame was solid but the drawer and cupboard fronts were a timber laminate. We decided to keep the timber edges to frame
So after all your comments I chose Coalmine which I mixed with Threadbo 1/4 to 3/4 ratio to achieve this gorgeous pale grey. The accents are Pavlova. I stripped and sanded the top. OMG that was hard work but all I did was wax it with Our Dark wax just using steel wool. I took a picture before I put the top back on because it
This old cupboard has had a few lives but I wanted to try stencilling with a modelling paste to create texture. I let the paste dry over night then painted the whole piece in Coalmine. I then started painting with Daintree but I had an old rag and wiped some paint off as I went.
